Bristol Badgers’ 4-1 victory in the first game of their BBF AAA double header against Richmond Knights at Somerdale has kept them in the play off race. A strong pitching performance by Nerius Tamosiunas kept the Knights in check, as he struck out seven Richmond players over his seven innings pitched.

BOULTON HEROICS KEEP BATS IN PLAYOFF RACE
Josh Boulton’s all round performance in the 13-11 victory against Richmond Dragons on Sunday helped keep Bristol Bats in the BBF AA playoff race. Boulton hit his first ever home run which scored three runs as well as striking out five Dragons over his five innings pitched.

FIELDING ERRORS COST BATS DEAR
Fielding errors cost the Bristol Bats dear in their BBF AA game against Guildford Mavericks on Sunday. Despite scoring two runs in the first inning, the Bats were constantly playing catch up against a strong Guildford side, and crucial errors allowed the Mavericks to stretch their lead and run out 16-6 winners.
